Coming soon: Douglass & Lincoln

Proofmark Cinema will soon be shooting James Roberts' one-man show, Douglass & Lincoln, at s benefit performance at the Union League in Philadelphia. In addition to being available as a DVD, the video will be used in an attempt to get whoever is President in 2014 to invite Mr. Roberts to present his show, on the exact date (19 August) and on the same exact spot in the White House, on the 150th anniversary of the original meeting between Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln. With a live show that, according to Jim Worrell of the Delaware Blues, "didn't leave a dry eye in the house", it promises to be a great experience.
